We receive no Government funding whatsoever and rely entirely on donations and fund-raising to continue the RSPCA mission in our district.  All RSPCA branches are separate charities responsible for their own financial security.

The legacies and gifts people leave in their Wills are really essential to Branches of the RSPCA, especially local branches like Croydon, Crystal Palace and District, as no funding is received from either the Government or the National Society of the RSPCA.

It is essential if you are considering leaving a legacy or gift to the RSPCA for the benefit of the animals in the Croydon, Crystal Palace and District area, you should ensure that the wording ‘for the benefit of the RSPCA Croydon, Crystal Palace and District Branch’ is included in the text of the will. The Branch’s registered Charity number ‘276861', should also be stated.
